I stayed for a week in October 2025 at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai in an Imperial Club Room. Total cost was €806, which appears to be an obvious pricing error, but it was honored.
While this is not exactly in the typical “chubby travel” price range, the overall experience absolutely felt like it belongs in that category due to the Imperial Club benefits.
Pros:
Room:
Room was comfortable and well equipped, with a sofa bed and great views across the property. Not the most modern design, but fully functional with all expected amenities.
Imperial Club:
This was the highlight of the stay. It effectively functions like an all-inclusive upgrade, with snacks and drinks throughout the day, private check-in, access to a dedicated lounge, separate beach area with complimentary drinks, and unlimited access to Aquaventure and The Lost Chambers. If staying here, I would strongly recommend it.
Food & Beverage:
I stayed on half board. Most restaurants on property were included, and there are more options than can realistically be used in a week. Signature restaurants like Nobu, Hakkasan, Seafire, and Ossiano have supplements, but the included dining options were still excellent and I never felt the need to eat outside the resort.
Service:
Service was consistently strong despite the size of the property. Staff in the Imperial Lounge quickly recognized guests by name, housekeeping was efficient with daily turndown service, and requests were handled quickly. Small welcome gifts were also provided.
Amenities:
Pools and beach areas are well maintained, gym is well equipped, and the major standout is direct access to Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers aquarium, which are a major differentiator compared to other luxury hotels.
Crowd:
Atlantis The Palm is more family focused, while Atlantis The Royal attracts more influencer-heavy crowds. This property felt more balanced in comparison.
Cons:
Lobby and entrance areas can get crowded, as can The Avenues section. However, pool and beach areas remained relatively calm.
Bottom line:
Even with a slightly dated physical product, the combination of service, dining, and amenities makes the Imperial Club experience very strong. I would stay again without hesitation.
