I finally had the chance to visit the new American Express Centurion Lounge in Atlanta’s Concourse E, and wow it really does live up to the hype. At 26,000 square feet, it’s the largest in the network, which means even during busy hours you can still find a quiet corner. The natural light, greenery, and modern design make it feel less like an airport lounge and more like a boutique hotel lobby.
The Southern-inspired menu from chef Deborah VanTrece was a highlight, and the craft cocktails were a perfect pre-flight treat. I also loved the wellness area having napping pods and showers available made a long layover much more bearable. If this is the future of Centurion Lounges, I’m excited to see what they do next in Salt Lake City and Newark. Has anyone else tried this lounge yet, and does it beat your favorite airline lounge?
