Took a voluntary bump for 3000 dollars and thought it was straightforward. Got 1500 right away into my Alaska wallet. Then an email shows up with three 500 dollar discount codes instead of actual credit. Each code can only be used once per reservation, so to use all three I’d need to make three separate bookings within a year.
We’re a family of four, so between us we now have twelve of these codes. It’s a headache to even figure out how to use them before they expire.
Trying to decide if it’s worth pushing Alaska to convert them into wallet credit like the first chunk instead of dealing with these one use discount codes. Anyone had luck getting that changed?
