When I visited Pisa, I was surprised that I could walk straight out of the airport and reach my hostel in about 10 to 15 minutes via normal roads and sidewalks. It felt very unusual compared to most airports I have used before.
I am curious if there are other airports in the world where this is possible, meaning you can realistically walk from the airport to nearby accommodation or even from the city center without needing transport. I am specifically referring to places where there are proper pedestrian routes, not situations where you would have to walk along unsafe highways or long industrial zones.
