Are resort fees now being charged on Team Member rates?

I noticed that the Team Member rate at the newly rebranded Signia Diplomat is showing resort fees included in the booking. I stayed at the property earlier this year when it was still under the Curio brand and I was not charged any resort fees at that time.

I am wondering if this is something specific to the rebrand or if Hilton is starting to apply resort fees to Team Member rates more broadly going forward.

Has anyone else noticed this at other properties or had similar experiences recently?
