I understand that these kinds of recognition messages don’t really come with any tangible rewards and can sometimes feel mixed in meaning, but they still genuinely matter to us.
A lot of us put in significant effort to deliver good customer service, especially during periods of operational stress and frequent changes. Being acknowledged in this way helps reassure me that I’m still positively impacting passengers and creating a good experience for them.
Even a simple note of appreciation goes a long way in making the work feel worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to recognize airline staff, it really does make a difference.
