Prepaid for a rental car using Apple Pay. When I got to the counter, they refused to finalize it because the last 4 digits on their system didn’t match my card.
In my Apple Wallet, the card shows the correct last 4 digits that match my physical card. The rental company says I used a completely different card number. I even called my card issuer and they said the number the rental company is seeing doesn’t exist on my account.
Has anyone run into this before with Apple Pay? Is this some kind of tokenized number issue?
