I was on Acela 2151 this morning and I owe an apology to everyone who has complained about the seat comfort.
I used to think people were exaggerating or just being picky, but I can now confirm the seats are genuinely uncomfortable in a very strange and unexpected way. It honestly feels like a kind of punishment after a while.
I take back my earlier assumptions. The complaints were completely fair.
