Longtime United flyer here. Held 1K for years and GS more recently.
This year just didn’t pan out travel-wise due to some unexpected life stuff, and I’m likely going to fall short. I’ve heard United sometimes offers discretionary status extensions in cases like this.
Has anyone actually gone through the process? Did you contact your GS rep directly or go another route?
I know it’s not guaranteed, but figured it’s worth asking before the year wraps up.
