Flew Sydney to Doha round trip on Qatar with two kids and was honestly surprised by how limited the food and snacks were. Portions felt smaller than what we’re used to, and there weren’t many snack rounds in between meals.
What really stood out was one attendant flat out refusing to give my kid an extra snack when he asked, which felt unnecessary. We usually fly Emirates and the experience is totally different, both in portions and how flexible the crew are.
Curious if this is just a Qatar thing or if we just had a bad crew. It definitely wasn’t what I expected given their reputation.
