Looks like the no-resort-fee trend in Vegas is picking up some steam. Sahara Las Vegas just followed Resorts World’s lead and axed its $55 resort fee at least for now. Honestly, it's about time more places started admitting that those fees are just fluff tacked on at the end. Feels like we’re finally getting back to being able to book a room and actually pay what the site says upfront.
The timing makes sense too visitor numbers are down, prices are slipping, and not everyone’s racing to book that spontaneous Vegas trip right now. Between tariff tension with Canada yeah, that’s a thing and generally softer demand, it seems like properties are scrambling a bit to stay competitive.
Anyone think we’ll see this spread to MGM or Caesars properties? Or is this just a summer stunt?
