Had a ticket for the 4:30pm Amtrak bus today. I got to the station at 4:15 and was told it already left at 4. Even if I’d shown up right on time, I still would’ve missed it. Amtrak rebooked me for tomorrow, but that’s the only bus out of here each day.
Now I’m stuck overnight and they’re refusing to cover a hotel, even though their site says they’ll provide lodging if you’re delayed or stranded for reasons under their control. I don’t see how this wasn’t.
Has anyone dealt with this before or gotten them to pay for a hotel in this situation?
