I can’t lie, I was buzzing when I pulled this off. Used Amex points, transferred to Flying Blue, and with a 30% bonus it felt like I’d cracked some secret code. Scored business class to Paris at about 2 cents per point. Flatbed seat, lounge access, wah I was grinning the whole way.
Even used points on a couple boutique hotels in Paris and Amsterdam through the Amex portal. Way better value than I expected.
