As someone constantly on the go, I’ve been comparing premium travel cards and finally dove into the Amex Platinum vs Citi Strata Elite showdown. The Amex card wins with unbeatable lounge access hello Centurion! and lots of luxury perks like CLEAR credits and hotel elite status. But that $695 annual fee stings, especially if you don’t use every benefit religiously.
Then there’s the Citi Strata Elite: slightly cheaper $595, and it earns crazy points- up to 12x on hotels and 6x on weekend dining. Plus, those Admirals Club passes and Blacklane credits caught my eye. I’m leaning toward Citi for the better all-around earnings and easier redemptions. Anyone here made the switch recently? Which card has worked best for your travel style?
