Close call at LAX this week. An American A321 bound for Boston had to abort takeoff at about 167 mph when a German Cargo 777 crossed the runway without clearance. ATC shouted for both planes to stop, and luckily no one was hurt.
The American flight ended up returning to the gate and left a couple hours later. Pretty wild reminder how quickly things can go sideways on the ground, not just in the air.
