I’m going on a girls trip this weekend and everything is already prepaid. Hotel, parking, event tickets, all of it. So I’m definitely anxious right now.
Alaska reached out offering to move us to a flight the next day, and the offer was $380 total for all 4 fares. That’s it. No same day alternatives, just next day.
Does this usually mean they’re about to bump people? Or is this just Alaska fishing to see if someone will give up seats so they can resell them for more?
Trying to figure out if I should be preparing for chaos or if this is fairly routine and I’m overthinking it.
Thanks in advance. Signed, a very anxious flyer.
