Noticed earlier this week that basically every ATL to PIT flight is now scheduled on 717s. There are about 7 daily flights and all but one are showing 717s now. The only exception I’m seeing is DL1504 at 6am, which is still a 737-900.
What’s odd is that these routes used to be run almost entirely by the ex Lion Air 737-900s with the weird cabin layouts. Now those seem to have disappeared from PIT altogether.
Curious if this is a fleet shift, operational thing, or something specific to Pittsburgh. Anyone know what’s driving the change?
