Alaska’s 787 plans… still no real premium economy?

Saw the Simple Flying piece and it looks like Alaska’s 787s really won’t have a true PE cabin. Kind of a letdown. I was hoping to try them on a Tokyo trip next year, but “extra legroom” in the same old seat doesn’t do much for me on a long haul. Feels strange that they’d roll out a new widebody in 2025 without an actual PE option.
