Had a flight home from Liberia, Costa Rica canceled because a crew member got sick. Stuff happens, I get it. But what came after was rough.
They told everyone to go sort hotels and rebooking at the ticket counter… but didn’t explain how to even exit properly through customs. Total confusion, people going back and forth between areas.
Finally got downstairs and it was just a massive line with no real help. No hotels, no meal vouchers, nothing moving. After waiting a while and seeing zero progress, we gave up and booked our own place… which wasn’t easy since there’s not much around that airport.
Still haven’t gotten clear answers on reimbursement either.
Really disappointing, especially for an international route. Felt completely on our own.
