Just spotted some big Alaska Airlines news for us West Coasters! They’re launching 7 new routes this fall and winter, and it’s perfect timing for ski season and wine country escapes. I’m eyeing the San Diego to Sun Valley route in December, finally an easier way to hit the slopes without insane layovers. Also love the new daily flights from Burbank to Oregon and Washington spots like Redmond and Pasco.
Starting Oct 26, several of these routes go live, with more rolling out through January. All of them use comfy Embraer 175s with 2x2 seating. Has anyone flown these before? Wondering how the experience compares to mainline jets. Also curious if folks are seeing these changes affect prices yet? I’m already planning my winter getaways!
