Alaska Airlines is expanding its TSA PreCheck Touchless ID program to Seattle, Los Angeles, and Portland. The system uses facial recognition so passengers can skip showing ID or boarding passes at security. This builds on earlier launches in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., and continues the airline’s digital innovation push. Seattle rolls out June 26, followed by Los Angeles on July 8 and Portland on July 10. To use it, travelers must update their passport and Known Traveler Number in their Mileage Plan profile. The goal is to create a fully touchless airport journey, including security and bag drop procedures.
