We have an upcoming trip with a few connections and just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this route.
The itinerary is SLC to Seattle with Alaska Air in the evening, then after a 3 hour layover Seattle to Taipei with Starlux. After arriving in Taipei there’s about a 7 hour layover before flying to Okinawa with Starlux.
A couple things we’re trying to figure out. Will bags need to be collected and rechecked in Seattle when transferring from Alaska to Starlux?
Also curious how Taipei airport is to navigate, especially when transferring from an international flight to a regional one. Not sure if that means leaving the secure area, going through security again, or doing customs.
Traveling with two kids (8 and 5), so also wondering if there are play areas or good food options during the layover.
