Alaska adds Philippine Airlines as partner - more Asia options with miles

Alaska just brought Philippine Airlines into its Mileage Plan family, and I’m here for it. More ways to use (and hopefully earn) miles heading to Asia is always a good thing, especially with a non-alliance carrier like PAL. Curious how award availability will look, but it’s a nice addition for folks on the West Coast eyeing Manila or beyond.
