Every airport feels like a guessing game.
Some want laptops out. Some don’t. Sometimes it’s shoes. Sometimes just boots. Belt? Maybe. Jacket? Depends on the day.
I try to be that person who’s fully prepped by the time I get to the front. Empty pockets, laptop ready, liquids out. Then I land somewhere new and suddenly it’s a totally different setup and I’m the one awkwardly reshuffling everything while the trays are somehow nowhere near where you actually need them.
Why is there not just a big screen at the start of the line that clearly says what they want right now? Update it as needed. Seems like the simplest fix ever.
I swear some of us would actually read it.
