Airlink, the South African regional carrier, will expand its codeshare networks with Emirates starting August 1, 2025, introducing Emirates “EK” codes on three Airlink‑operated routes from Johannesburg to Beira (Mozambique), Livingstone, and Ndola (both Zambia). In addition, Air France will gradually extend its codeshare agreement from October 26, 2025 to include routes from Cape Town to destinations such as Hoedspruit and Skukuza (South Africa), Maun (Botswana), Upington (South Africa), and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). These partnerships significantly enhance connectivity for international travelers to lesser‑served destinations across Southern Africa and support tourism growth in the region.
