Just came across this ranking of airline snacks and had to share. The creator put Stroopwafels and Shortbread at the absolute top in S-tier, which I can’t argue with nothing hits like a warm stroopwafel with coffee at 35,000 feet.
A-tier includes Dot’s Pretzels, Twix, and the classic Biscoff. Solid choices Biscoff is pretty much synonymous with Delta flights at this point. But I’m curious about Dot’s making it this high, they’re good, but are they really elite-level compared to stroopwafels?
B-tier has Sun Chips, Oreos, Goldfish, and mini pretzels basically the “safe but forgettable” options. I’d probably bump Oreos higher since they’re a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
C-tier feels right for the random cereal bars and Remy’s Grahams, which I always find a little disappointing.
And then D-tier water and napkins. Brutal, but accurate. Nothing worse than when that’s all you get on a short hop.
So what do you all think — did this list nail it? What’s your personal S-tier when it comes to airline snacks?
