Airline Hacks That Actually Work?

This old but still super relevant piece from the NYT lays out all the creative booking tricks, and let’s be honest, who hasn’t at least considered skiplagging once or twice? I've tried a hidden city fare once (NYC to SFO via SEA) and felt like I was pulling off a heist. That said, doing it regularly sounds like asking for trouble if you’re loyal to a specific airline.
