Planning a London to Phuket trip in March, and my mom wants to save money with Air India for £450 return. I’ve heard plenty of bad reviews though old planes, broken seats, cleanliness issues. Etihad is £650, so about £400 more total for two people, but it feels worth it for comfort and reliability.
In the end we decided to go with Etihad and spend two nights in Abu Dhabi during the layover definitely feels like the better call.
