I tried to use an Air France voucher but ended up giving up and paying with my credit card instead.
After a 45-minute wait on customer service, I was told the voucher was valid. However, I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working at checkout. Eventually, I was told that the first two digits of the voucher number shouldn’t be entered when redeeming it.
I found this very frustrating, as there was no clear instruction about this when the voucher was issued, and it feels unreasonable to provide a “valid” voucher number that doesn’t actually work as entered.
