I honestly do not know whether to laugh or cry at this point.
We flew with Air France and all 4 of our suitcases were lost for 8 days. We were going on a cruise, so we had no option but to buy replacement essentials just to get through the trip, including clothes and toiletries. The total cost was over £2,000.
To make matters worse, one suitcase is still missing.
Air France’s response has been to offer £334 in compensation and close the claim without a proper explanation.
I have emailed multiple times stating that I do not accept this offer, but I am now being ignored.
I have kept all receipts and documentation and I am considering escalating the case.
What would you do next in this situation? Should I continue pushing Air France or go directly to ADR? Any advice would be appreciated, especially from anyone who has dealt with something similar.
