I have a trip booked on one ticket with the following flights:
Air Canada: Calgary → Toronto → Delhi
Air India: Delhi → Nagpur
I arrive in Delhi around 8 PM, and my domestic Air India flight to Nagpur is at 6 AM the next morning, so there’s about a 10-hour layover.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
Will my checked baggage go directly to Nagpur, or will I need to collect it in Delhi and re-check it for the domestic flight?
How straightforward is the international → domestic transfer at Terminal 3 in Delhi?
If I do have to collect my luggage, when can I drop it for the 6 AM Air India flight if I arrive around 8 PM?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s done a similar Air Canada → Air India connection in Delhi.
