Booked the two return flights that come with the Aer Lingus credit card reward. The flights themselves were about €346, but the taxes and charges came out to €196.
Was a bit surprised that the taxes were that high for “free” flights.
For comparison, recently booked flights to Tenerife for four people using Avios and the taxes were only about €70 total even though the flights themselves were priced around €1000.
Is this normal with the Aer Lingus credit card reward flights?
