About to hit Hilton Diamond, how much better is it really?

Never made Hilton my main chain, but thanks to some unexpected work travel, I’ll hit Diamond in a few weeks.

For those who’ve been Diamond for a while how big of a difference does it actually make? I know the published perks, but I’m wondering about real treatment upgrades, service, recognition, etc.

Coming from Accor Platinum, where the top tier really stands out, I’m curious how Hilton compares at the high end.
