This was supposed to be our first Adventures by Disney and a huge senior year trip for my son. Two weeks after final payment, it was canceled with zero explanation.
They refunded the money, but the only extra offered was a $500 ABD credit per guest. That’s under 5 percent of the trip cost, after I’d already spent a lot of time planning flights and everything around it.
What bothers me most isn’t even the cancellation itself. I get that trips don’t always fill. But not giving any explanation at all feels pretty bad, especially after full payment. If low enrollment was a real possibility, I wish that had been communicated upfront.
Has anyone else had an ABD trip canceled like this with no explanation? Just trying to figure out if this is a one off or something that happens more than they admit.
