AAdvantage Hotels miles posted but no LP. Is that normal?

First time using AAdvantage Hotels and I’m a bit confused. I booked a stay for February and the trip hasn’t even happened yet. Today the miles already posted to my account, but they showed up only as redeemable miles, not Loyalty Points.

Is this normal? Do the LP usually post after the stay is completed? Or does this mean these are bonus miles that don’t count toward LP?

The listing didn’t clearly say “bonus miles,” which is what’s throwing me off. Just want to make sure I didn’t miss something or misunderstand how AAdvantage Hotels works.

Anyone who’s used this before, I’d appreciate some insight.
