Had to redo my monthly Champaign trips after AA jacked up pricing. Those 7,500-mile ORD connections are now showing 15–20k each way. Even my work Y-UP fares jumped from the mid-400s to almost $700.
Best workaround I’ve found: book exactly 60 days out and skip Mon/Fri travel, still seeing the old 7,500 rate that way. United’s got cheaper roundtrips too, but you’re usually stuck on the CRJ-200s.
