Yikes. Read this case where a jury said AA failed a passenger showing stroke symptoms on a MIA–MAD flight and awarded $9.6M. Stuff like this is exactly why crews drill medical protocols and why flights divert. Asking other passengers to watch someone instead of looping in the pilot and medics is wild. Hope this pushes better training and accountability across the board.
