Boarded about 10 minutes late, then the crew said we’d be waiting for one passenger. They even started drink service while we sat there. About 45 minutes later the person strolls on saying it “wasn’t their fault.”
We missed our takeoff window thanks to ATC delays and ended up two hours late, lots of people missed connections.
Never seen AA hold a flight that long for one person. Why would they do that?
