Had a flight to Seattle scheduled for 2:30pm, but ended up stuck at the airport until around 9pm because of a series of delays.
Boarded on time and even left the gate, then after sitting on the plane for about an hour there was apparently a mechanical issue, so everyone had to deplane.
They first said the new departure would be 5pm, but around 5:30 another update came saying the crew had called off sick. After that they had to find a replacement crew.
Around 6:45pm the new departure time became 9pm, and then at 8:30 it was pushed back again because some of the new crew still hadn’t arrived.
Turned into an extremely frustrating travel day.
