I booked business class tickets for my parents and young kids (ages 9 and 12), a total of six people including my wife. We will be flying from ORD to FRA on the Lufthansa 747-8.
I understand the upper deck is popular, but the only available seats there were split between the back four seats and a pair further forward in the cabin.
I noticed that rows 10 and 11 on the main deck are separated from the rest of the business class cabin. From the seat map, it looks like a small, more private section, and we could potentially occupy about half of it if we choose those seats.
Has anyone experienced this area, and does it feel more private or comfortable for a family?
