Saw this piece about fall travel and it rang true. New England leaves gone in a blink, Rome and Florence still slammed in October, Greek islands shutting down, and Banff already frozen over. I’ve been burned by that “perfect fall timing” gamble before and it’s not fun. Some of their alternatives actually sound better anyway like Bologna instead of Florence or the Blue Ridge Parkway instead of Vermont.
