I am flying from Copenhagen to Boston via Munich on Lufthansa next month and have a 55 minute connection in Munich. I did not initially pay close attention to the layover time, otherwise I may have chosen a different itinerary.
The journey is for one adult and two children. The children are old enough to move quickly and manage their own luggage if needed.
My concern is whether 55 minutes is realistically enough time to make the connection in Munich, especially considering potential passport control delays under the current EES system. We are two EU citizens and one US citizen, all EU residents, though I am not sure if that affects processing speed.
Has anyone recently made similar short connections in Munich, and is this generally considered safe or quite risky?
