I see a lot of trips that focus only on Paris or the biggest cities. Totally get it, but France has so many quieter, beautiful places that feel completely different.
If you want something more memorable and less checklist travel, here are a few favorites:

The French Alps
Étretat
Mont Saint Michel and Fontainebleau can definitely get crowded, so timing matters, but they’re still worth it if you go at the right moment.
