This week i was on airport, where I saw that the counters weren’t open at 3:10 for a 5 am departure. Staff rolled in around 3:20 and started bag check a few minutes later. Honestly that tracks with what I’ve seen at a lot of airports. TSA and ticket counters don’t fire up much earlier than 3:30. For these first flights I usually aim for 3:40ish, carry on only, and it’s fine.
