Just got out of what felt like airport prison after 4+ days at DFW. Total chaos… constant delays turning into cancellations, crew timing out, equipment issues, all of it.
Got bounced between like a dozen flights and at one point their system even went down completely.
But gotta give credit where it’s due, the AA staff were actually great the whole time. Stayed calm, kept trying to help, and even gave out food and hotel vouchers without me having to fight for it.
Logistics were still a mess though. Barely any transport, ended up sleeping in the terminal a couple nights, and one short ride cost me $130.
Flagship lounge honestly saved me… not sure how I would’ve handled it without that.
