IHG points generally don’t transfer out at great value, and converting to airline miles is usually a terrible deal. Selling or transferring to another person isn’t straightforward either unless you pay transfer fees.
Best value is almost always redeeming for hotel stays.
A few ideas:
Look for higher end redemptions like InterContinental, Kimpton, or Six Senses where cash rates are high. That’s where you can get outsized value.
Use the 4th night free benefit if you have the IHG credit card. That stretches points a lot.
Book during peak cash pricing periods like holidays or big events.
374k points could easily cover several nights at solid properties, or a few nights somewhere really premium.
If you truly won’t use them, you could also plan a couple of aspirational weekend trips and burn them down intentionally rather than letting them sit.
Converting to miles or cash usually means giving up a lot of value.
