Originally had a 5h55 layover. Now my first flight is delayed by 5h20, so I’m left with less than 35 minutes to make the connection.
Both flights are on one booking. The connecting flight is operated by Air Dolomiti, which I understand is basically part of Lufthansa Group.
What are the chances they actually hold the connecting flight for delayed passengers? Or is that unrealistic?
Mostly worried about being stuck at the airport for hours waiting for the next option. I do have travel insurance, but I’d obviously rather just make the connection.
Has anyone been in a similar situation with Lufthansa?
