Love this. Big loop vibes with tight PTO and you still packed in Black Hills, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Redwoods, Yosemite, Vegas, Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, plus the chilly Oregon and NorCal coast. Under 8k miles and roughly 2k on gas split eight ways sounds about right. Seeing the Milky Way at the Grand Canyon with bare eyes is a core memory.
Sure, you skipped the East Coast and Utah this round, but whatever. You did the trip instead of waiting for perfect. That’s the move. Next lap can be Tetons, Utah parks, Carolina coast, all that good stuff.
