Me and my partner were supposed to go SAV to Dublin and it’s turned into a complete nightmare.
First flight delayed so long the pilot timed out. Rebooked. Then that new flight was already cancelled and no one told us until boarding. Went home, came back next day.
Finally made it to Newark… then more delays. Food issue, traffic on runway, then a broken light after we were literally about to take off. Sat there for hours until the pilots timed out again.
Now it’s middle of the night, stuck in Newark, exhausted, missing plans in Ireland and losing money on bookings.
This was supposed to be a big first international trip for my partner and it’s honestly just been brutal.
