Flying EAS to MAD to ORD soon. First time with Iberia and first time connecting in Madrid.
I’ve got 1h15 from 10:30 to 11:45 to go from T4 to T4S. Non EU passport. All on one ticket, booked through a third party, basic economy.
I’ve read that if you miss the connection they’ll rebook you on the next flight, but does that actually happen smoothly even on the cheapest fare? Anyone been in that situation?
Also, how tight is 1h15 with passport control between T4 and 4S?
Just trying to set expectations and calm my nerves a bit.
